It has been a year since we founded Autsera … and what a year it has been!
We started our first year in business with a prestigious EU Seal of Excellence for quality innovations worthy of investment. Soon afterwards, we won an Innovate UK grant. A few months later, we won another Innovate UK grant. In the meantime, we successfully completed our crowdfunding campaign, supported by NatWest.
We were so lucky with our supporters and incubators. We were selected and received generous support from Google for Startups Female Founders Residency Programme, TechHub Diversity Programme, Deutsche Bank WeInSocialTech Programme and Plexal Social Inclusion Programme. We are currently part of the NatWest Business Incubator.
The funding we raised and the support we received enabled us to grow our team, and add more talent and expertise. Beyond the two co-founders, our team now has an autism expert, child psychiatrist, two technical developers, game design advisor, illustrator and marketing consultant.
We start our second year with optimism, energy and resolve to help autistic children develop their social communication skills. Despite the coronavirus challenges, our team has worked hard to develop our games and apps. We are delighted that we will be testing our first release of the game in May. We are currently looking for volunteers to give feedback on the game. Stay tuned!
